they say laughing buddha can bring good luck...my mom has one of those..
I dont know anything about the concept but I have one in my home. It was a birthday gift from my college friends. It is something too precious to me.
My mum has a Laughing Buddha :)
I grew up with Buddhism, temples and learning Jataka Katha of the Buddha. Buddha to me is the orange robe clad Indian/Sri Lankan statue.
The Laughing Buddha I blv is a Chinese myth, just for fun's sake?

u shud have kept it in color...these statues will be very colorful and making them monochrome might not add to it.

---I have two of these, both gifts from family, thought they look cute. As for Feng Shui, there is something I do believe in(cant give it the name of Feng Shui)- Keep the surroundings clean, serene, disciplined, neat and orderly and life will be so. Keep your speech kind and loving and your life will bring these in.
Keep your thoughts generous and expansive and your life will have people and situations who are generous and expansive.
Now practicing that is a whole different deal.
